If she made the statement the next day that may make the date different for some offences. Thanks, it's odd how they span two dates as my partner reported them on the day of arrest, perhaps some police admin thing?

Hi JC83 - thought I’d ask - how did the first hearing go?Welcome to the forum buddy. Sorry to hear you are going through this, most of us here, myself included, have been exactly in your position. I was arrested for child abuse and assault charges which got NFA’d and have my first child arrangements hearing coming up.
Did you give a no comment interview at the police station?
How are you currently able to see your kids? Is it through a third party? I’m guessing you can’t communicate with your ex at all?
I personally wouldn’t bother with a solicitor, I had one for my criminal case and he said not to bother with any pre charge engagement work. Just let the police see what they come back to you with. I doubt you will be able to speed them up.
From now on, start to record everything as you may rely on any evidence later and ideally do things via writing.
Sorry you are going through this, it sucks. Stay strong buddy
First hearing, nothing much happened. Had to stay supervised in a family centre and the judge ordered ex to to file a Scott schedule of allegations and her statement and I was ordered to respond.Hi JC83 - thought I’d ask - how did the first hearing go?
Thank you for sharing - really interesting to hearFirst hearing, nothing much happened. Had to stay supervised in a family centre and the judge ordered ex to to file a Scott schedule of allegations and her statement and I was ordered to respond.
Directions hearing was last week. Judge did not deem a fact finding necessary or appropriate on the basis of our statements (I took that as he called ex a liar but couldn’t say it). Ex didn’t want a fact finding either, probably as she would have to be cross examined. Judge said even if ex wanted a fact find he wouldn’t have ordered one. Now got unsupervised time again and a progressing interim order leading to overnights. Ex is claiming she now wants to co-parent, and has said she agrees to 50/50 if I relocate to her part of the country. I’m not hopeful, but we will see as she has already been arguing with my barrister over the wording of the interim order! No s7 ordered either which is massive for me as I’ve had a biased social worker constantly believing ex and wanting me to do a DA perp course all year.
Next hearing is in spring and is a DRA which could possibly be the final hearing. Like I say, I’m not hopeful though given she is already trying to backtrack and argue over minor details in an interim order.
