We are back end of the month and I am sure it will be thrown at me. If STBXW allowed me to see my child it would not be an issue. We have nothing inplace yet.Got you. In that case, did they propose an alternative?
How long before the hearing (fhdra) would the cafcass call take place?@jayy have you not had the email via egress??? perhaps you missed it?? They should have contacted you via email to confirm your contact details??
And at what point should I be chasing them if I haven’t heard, to ensure it is done and delivered in time for the FHDRA

Mine has been a mess so likely not to be accurate.
I was informed of the call about 3 weeks before the call.
The call was just over a week before the hearing. I found out about the hearing during the call.
Details of the hearing should come by post similar times to when the call is scheduled
In my case, I received mine in the post 3 days before the hearing.
Safeguarding report was delivered 4 days before the hearing.
Do you have the date for the hearing but no scheduled call? I’d chase up for this as soon as possible.

Do not use Cafcass ask for independent organisation. In my experience I found them Incompetent and they used my ADHA and Austim against me in their report. I need to speak yo my MP as I have tried complaining directly and other organisation but they are law of the own. I was told the only option is to sue them. I spent all my money saving my children. Cafcass are not to be trusted.Hi I have the FDHRA coming up in just over a week.
Cafass spoke to me first as mother was unavailable.
There was concerns about the welfare of child as child reported mother to school for an abuse incident.
Cafass also told me mother had reported me last year (when child was being withheld from me) for abuse. However this is the first I’m hearing of it. They likely will need to speak to child (8 years of age) which is extremely frustrating especially if child has been coached.
I am aware this will be a very long road.
Just wanted advice on if I should go with a position statement? As I’ve seen some posts say it’s pointless.
Also, as mother is being spoken to after me, will I be able to see further allegations made?
I am self rep, would I be able to take notes into court? I suspect she will mention some of the allegations she’s made directly to me.

Hi @JayMC yes I agree. I will be doing this as per CAFASS recommendation for both February and March. I’ll send via moonpig which emails confirmation of content and also take pics of content. Thanks for your response!You should make the attempt at written contact, if you don’t it will appear you don’t actually have an interest in the child.
