When address of applicant is not known?

When address of applicant is not known can the court still serve the applicant notice of the C100? (via email or phone for example)
Or does there need to be an address to know which court/area it should go to.

I realise there is a "Don't know address" checkbox on the C100.

Thanks.

Tricky. Normally you could find the address via a tracing agent, but in your case your ex is somewhere that you're not supposed to know. If she had a solicitor you could put the solicitor's address. I would suggest contacting social services to ask if she has a solicitor you can send court documents to. Or alternatively, an address they can be sent to.
