undertakings and cross undertaking for NMO

I've just done some interesting reading. if you make an undertaking , or cross undertaking, the NMO is discharged and cannot be referred to in court or CAFCASS. Also of interest, the court won't agree to the undertaking ( even if the other side is willing) if they consider there is a risk of violence or potential danger to the applicant or any child.

Also interesting to note, an NMO can be renewed when it has expired, but an undertaking cannot. So usually you will get slapped with another NMO and it's a dejavu court appearance, only this time, a period of time has elapsed, there has been no incidents and you can ask for it to be discharged on the basis there has been no recent allegations and your conduct demonstrates that.
 
It depends on each and every individual circumstance.
