This documentary came up on my YouTube.
I find it odd the kids are part of the process.
The nan seems like a sitcom parody.
Poor kids.

I started watching it but found it depressing. I did skip forwards to see when they were older though and one said if he'd known what care was like he'd rather have stayed at his (abusive) Dads. All thoroughly depressing. The system for kids should be better.

One thing I notice is that the resources seem pretty good back then!! Endless social workers round the house.

The dad has issues and needs help. He was clearly depressed after his wife died.
I'll carry on watching after the weekend.

It is depressing. I only managed 10 minutes or so. There are so many parallels with my experience of outsiders being involved in family issues.

Upsetting to see so many people failing to see things from any perspective but their own.
