Logical fallacies

I thought this might be of interest as in family court false allegations are a type of logical fallacy.

This is interesting, thank you for sharing @Peanut 21 .

We must not presume that everything the other parent states is automatically wrong.

Correctly, we should first check our own positions, do they unintentionally contain any logical fallacies?

Only then we do step forward and challenge potential fallacies within the other parents position, such as Straw Man and Red Herring.

I was reminded recently between the difference of Perception (Subjective) and Perspective (Objective) which we need in order to avoid spending time & energy with the wrong focus!
 
Getting your head around what is in the article will really help with considering the words of solicitors and barristers. If only the courts were focussed on things making sense, rather than on how things are presented.
