Hello all
This afternoon I will receive the judge and courts decision on child arrangements. Its been almost 2 years being in court, over £50k personal costs and so a decision is coming.

Feeling anxious, concerned and apprehensive but also looking forward to spending time again with my daughters. No matter the outcome, I want to thank you all for all the advice and help, please pray for me and my children that they will come home again.

Thank you all x.

Thank you all. The Judgement, in summary:

  1. Joint lives with
  2. Transition of spend time with me over 6 months before first overnight (at childrens pace)
  3. Shared holidays and special occasions
  4. He stopped short of giving shared 50.50 of nights
  5. it basically leaves us as parents to sort out nights and time spent with our children down to parents to sort out ourselves.
My barrister is drafting the order.
No welfare or safeguarding concerns at all.

Not sure what to think of it right now after almost 2 years and 5 hearings. Trying to process it.

Very pleased for you. Well done!

Well done for sticking with it.

I really don't like the wording at all.

It gives one parent, in this case mother, all the power to determine the time.

I'd have thought with a lives with order there would be some sort of minimum overnights set in stone.

Is this something your barrister could do or was discussed?

Thank you,
I understand but my barrister is drafting the order and its something that can be looked at before its sealed. I think the otherside are going to object to it. We shall see.

My barrister stated to me, he would have snatched his hands off if this was offered before because i've had no oversights for almost 2 years and the girls haven't been back to the family home over that time as well.

You're rights going to be tricky moving forward in how I navigate this.
