If you're using mobile or tablet, you might have noticed recently an option to “Install the app” in the hamburger menu. This isn't a full app like you'd download from an app store, it's a "progressive web app" - it's a bit like a bookmark on your home screen, but a bit more than a bookmark as it takes you directly to the site and no web browser baggage at the top of the screen - so in that sense it looks and acts like an app.
If you want to install it, it's quite simple. Click on "Install the App". After clicking on that, a kind of demonstration video opens for a different website, which isn't particularly helpful. Ignore that and just
1) Click on the "bookmark" icon (on iphone - assume there's similar in android).
2) Then select "Add to Home Screen"
3) Click "Add" - the Window closes and you'll see the icon on the screen.
When you tap on the icon, it opens the DWK page but the site is full screen with no browser bar at the top. So it's similar to a bookmark, but it looks and acts like an app. Example below.
On the demonstration page that opens, tap the boomark symbol at the bottom
Full screen - no browser bar
