Why does the Cafcass website say only "oral evidence" is given at a final hearing?
Are text messages and video not used?

Hi @hazemaze , prior to the Final hearing you submit a Witness Statement, in this document you are able to refer to any evidence you wish to submit. That evidence is then included in an Appendix to the statement which can be Text Messages, Emails, GP Letters etc.

Generally speaking it is difficult to include lots of video & audio within the evidence, you are likely to find it easier to include a transcript of either. I think there are a couple of threads & a few posts as well discussing this on the forum, might be worthwhile searching using the term Video or Audio to see what comes up.

Ideally & not looking at your full situation, you want to include a few but very relevant evidence where it demonstrates your points, showing you as the flexible and capable parent.
