The nutter ex tried to stop the documentary being aired. Judge overuled her.

I did watch it last night. What an horrendous ordeal, and it lasted for 20 years! Richard was very brave going public with his story and it has raised the profile of male victims of DV. 2 things stood out for me; firstly, how seriously would the police have taken him without overwhelming evidence? Secondly, what would the outcome have been if, just for a split second he had lost self control and retaliated? Can't imagine how much will power it must have taken to just soak it up as someone battered your head with a wine bottle.
