I think my ex has taken both kids of school and taken them to thorpe park today. My ex is also a teaching assistant at one of the boys school. Their attendance and lateness has been terrible. Shes basically teaching the boys to lie. There is F all I can do as if I speak to the school then I will just be accused of controlling and also my ex will play games at contact. Furious and powerless,

Hello MVA,

If it helps I have a different view to children taking days off school for trips like this.

The children will learn more today and have better life memories than if they was in school.

The government is so hot on unauthorised absences, not because it’s deferential to the children’s education.

Because if a child is off school, so is one parent or possibly two. Now, sick days for parents ….. that costs the government and employers considerably.

I do get your rant though, I guess if you was to do the same it wouldnt be allowed?
