Typical Grounds for Appeal?

All,

I had my final hearing yesterday and although there were positivies, I am not happy with the fact I did not get a joint lives with order. The RM is a control freak and for this reason, I am willing to give it another shot.

I could vent about what happened and how the CC officer came to the hearing and went back on everything she suggested in her S7 (it was clear someone had been in her ear) even though my supervised sessions as the centre were extremely positive, she went back on everything and even found it funny as she smirked continuously whilst being cross examined. There will be no gain in me venting so I need to push on now and see if I can improve on the contact they have suggested.

I understand that to appeal it needs to be on legal grounds, are there typical reasons fathers appeal on? Or is it case-by-case?

Would appreciate some guidance on this.

Thanks

Was this decision made in by magistrates or district judge?

If it was magistrates I believe you can appeal the decision almost regardless, otherwise if it was a proper judge you can only appeal on a point of law or procedural error.
