I am just posting this here to help other Dads advised to complete a parenting course. The Positive Parenting Programme also called the Triple P is accepted by the court.
It costs £85 and can be competed in days before your hearing.

It is different from the Parenting Together course by CAFCASS.

I completed mine after seeing the CAFCASS report and it was accepted by the court.

It saves a lot of time in resuming contact with the children.

All the best

Looked at this, thanks for update. I'm going to do it pre C100 application as a signal of proactive behavior, might be something in it for thought too.

This is the one I mentioned in a post yesterday. You even get a certificate to say you have completed the course, my son has printed his ready for court next week. It’s worth searching “triple p parenting online free” as it is free for people in some counties through the local council websites.

The courts also liked it when my son did a coparenting program run by dads unlimited which is free.

Thanks for this post Yomi. I'm going to sticky it so it's found easily and can be linked for others :-) I'm going to move it to a different section and sticky it.

Do you have a link for a free course that os recognised.

Are these courses necessary before a first hearing if you both live under one roof - is there any advantage to me doing it?

Yes they are definitely worth doing and you can get brownie points for having done it without it being ordered first! It is commonly ordered for both parents because it relates to post separation parenting.

Ok so I shall get it done before my first hearing

Thanks for the suggestion for Dads United. I have signed upto the next course they are running in a weeks time.
I believe they offer a broader range of services - did you use anything else?
Thanks

My son signed up to their buddy system and they offer of the phone mentoring led by you so if/when you need them just give them a call and they are there. If you join their mentoring system they even provide assistance with reading and drafting documents and can give you access to barristers working with them at a reduced cost to normal DRA barristers.

Amazing and thanks for such a quick response. It was alot to take in from them on the first call but support does sound positive.

The court also accepted the co-parenting course and when Cafcass recommended their co-parenting course he didn’t have to do it as has already done this one.
