Still nothing back from court plus interim order

Hello

What is the current waiting times for the courts. I put my c100 in approximately 4 weeks ago. I have contacted the courts via phone gave them my reference number and have told me its in the system its just a matter of waiting... Does this seem normal?

Also i think i missed the intrim contact bit on the c100 (I was flapping) when i get my first hearing do i need to do any thing before?

I don't mind who's there or how long it is i just want to see my son

It depends what region you're in - some are taking longer than others. Did you do an online application? Sometimes it goes to a central place first then gets sent out to a court, and might even get sent to a different court. That can cause delays.

You can still ask for interim time when you speak to Cafcass, and in a position statement.

Mine took over a month after chasing it up every week. They ended up offloading to another city to issue the application.

I can understand your apprehension, and it's easy to say be patient. But unfortunately the family court process is very, very, very slow and drawn out.
