My 13 year old daughter lives with me, and we are booked for an initial court date of 28th Jan for child arrangements for both children (13 and 10) . My daughter is very unhappy at her current school and has for the last 2 weeks refused to attend, we have been looking at moving her for some time but since separating unfortunately my ex won’t agree a school move as my daughter won’t speak to or see her, I have been requesting this since September, but messages are now just being ignored, I have involved all services that are interested (which isn’t many) and continue to work with her current school to get her back into school! My questions are
1. As my ex is unwilling to engage in a school move due to our daughter refusing contact with her could I get an emergency order so I can do the application to move her school without ex’s consent or am I just going to have to sit it out until Late Jan and get this put in as an interim order?
2. As my ex is unwilling to engage in relation to the children’s welfare/education should I be raising this issue to anyone else? (Social services) or will this just further aggravate things?
Any advice or suggestions great fully recieved.
