Good afternoon everyone,
Has anyone else encountered bias with Cafcass reports and how to combat it?
Despite findings being found against both parties during the Fact Find, The section 7 report is solely focused on me and me alone and has not recommendations towards my Ex partner despite there being blatant acts of emotional abuse and controlling behaviour highlighted.
I have been noted as being emotionally and mentally unstable which is a very clear lie and I have sought a Doctors note to disprove this immediately. It is all about how me being in the children's lives would be detrimental to the mum, how the mum will suffer from me being in the girls lives, how I will undermine the mums parenting, How I will try to flee the country with my children if I am given PR, It is all based on how the Mum will suffer and no actually focused on the children. I am finding it hard to understand how I will do any of this considering I haven't seen our eldest daughter in over a year and haven't even met our youngest daughter yet so all of my initial contact would be in a supervised environment where all I want to do is build a relationship with my children and nothing more. My ex Partner has made it very clear that I should not have any contact with our daughters and that her and her new partner have set up a loving and nurturing home for our daughters and all I will do is ruin it.
It is due to go to a final hearing, is this something for the Barrister to disprove the Cafcass officer in court?
Thank you all
