Hi All, Can nursery fees be used for CMS variation? I have been separated from July 2024. I have been paying half the mortgage for the house that I don’t live in as it is a joint mortgage. I pay all of the nursery fee. I recently got a notice from CMS to pay from next month. I can’t afford it as I have to pay all those along with my rented place. I have applied for variation for the mortgage but I didn’t get any confirmation. Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can claim for nursery fees, but in that case, your ex should be claiming the free childcare (or part towards it).
If she is working and your child is 3 to 4, she can get 30 hours of free childcare
