Legal aid question

Evening all, Ex is getting Legal aid for family court. We are also awaiting exchange of Form E's for finances which is being done via respectice solicitors. Does she get legal aid for the finance side of things too???

You mean she has LA for family court referring that you have kids? Tbh I'm not sure if she would get for both maybe others could answer

Yes they can get legal aid for finances too.

sorry for the follow up.... anyone know why they wouldn't??? any circumstances. There is reasoning behind my question

From.what I've read here and on the Web, LA is generally given now in family court if proof of DV/DA and has been recorded by the police or charged for proven offence

So, am going to put a question into my solicitor or it will bug me......But still value anyones input!!! in answering my own question I question. If she's ok doing the financial matter via our respective solicitor then no legal aid but if straight into court then she may/would be able to get legal aid?????

But aren't financial matters being done via solicitors outside of family court??
