Or is it normal to have different LA barristers from different chambers for each hearing?

Both things could be normal depending on the firm. That's not a very useful answer i realise, but I'm aware of both scenarios. Then again, someone constantly changing lawyers can be a red flag (my ex has had nine solicitors in eleven months...).
