Afternoon gentlemen,
Which report would carry more weight in proceedings?
To prove or discredit alienation, and causes of child's anxiety - Section 7 or mental health assessment?
Two routes: One is ISW report. The other is psychologists reports on both parents. The second option can be a lot more expensive. ISW report should do it - unless you think your ex has an extreme personality disorder - a psychologist would diagnose that and may say that the ex is incapable of complying with court orders as a result and is a risk to the child emotionally. Psychologists vary a lot though - some are good, some are not - some are biased even IMO. ISW's tend to be more reliable I think. Unless you're prepared to spend 20k on a PA psychologist.
Psychologist for our child.
Ex hired an ISW to write a S7 because child (12) wishes to live with me. Although it doesn't go as far to say I'm fully alienating, it ignored inappropriate actions of ex on child which has contributed to their wishes and feelings and attempts to make me look controlling.
