Hi all.
Been going through the CAO process for a while now. Got past the Section 7 stage. Children are 6 and 8.
Ex has been pairing back my time with the children gradually. To start with this was supported by CAFCASS, but recently she's been claiming to have their support whilst they seem to say otherwise to me.
I feel as though the tide may be turning. CAFCASS are now talking about the need to increase the children's time with me, and suggesting they support via a Family Assistance Order. The next steps are to see if the ex and I can agree a plan together, and report back any areas of dispute to CAFCASS.
Our kids like routine, so I'm thinking of suggesting to target 2-2-5-5. That way they are always with the same parent on the respective days of the week, and weekends alternate between parents. I was thinking of breaking the transition down into 7 increments, each spaced 6 weeks apart.
Does anyone here have any advice for making such a plan in order to avoid traps along the way?
