Hi,is there any way you could help with a house .
My ex partner and I separated over 10 years ago,the house we brought was given to her in a court order by a judge in Derby until our youngest child either finished education or became 20 years old.
Our youngest child is out of education now so the house can now be sold.
Where do I start the process for this to happen, any help would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Have you contacted the ex to ask that it's put on the market or are we to assume she's refusing or not responding?

I don't know the answer but am interested as this could be me in a few years.

I think you would need to petition court if your ex is refusing to play ball.

No contact at all, hasn't been for over 10 years.

So,is that what must happen, you need to ask for it to be put on market for sale?

That's what my solicitor told me when I entered into a mesher order arrangement.
