Granddads with Kids

My dad has decided to follow the process for a Child Arrangements Order of his own. This involves asking the court for permission to apply for a CAO. Unfortunately, despite the important role they play, they have no rights to see their grandchildren at present. Although I believe this may be about to change. Strangely it seems you ask for permission by submitting the C100 form after you've exhausted mediation. His MIAM is on Monday.

No surprise, my dad had his MIAM, did the right thing and extended the offer to mediate with my ex. Despite trying to remain neutral over the years and supporting her in every way to ensure the welfare my son, she has declined.

It's just a case of waiting to see if the court will approve his CAO application.
