Getting to 50:50 - how?

A 50-50 arrangement is not an ideal outcome for me. However, I recognize that navigating the system is particularly challenging for someone like me, as a Muslim and Asian father, given the systemic biases and complexities involved. It’s well-known that the system often does not favor fathers in custody cases. Additionally, there are numerous other complications specific to my situation that make this process even more challenging during these difficult times
Fair enough Irfan, can I ask what arrangements you are hoping for?
And if any of the complications are something you want to share (in case anyone else on here has been through it and can give there advice).
Obviously if it’s personal and you don’t wish to do so than please ignore me asking my friend :)

I am seeking full custody, with the children living primarily with me and visiting their mother. I strongly believe this arrangement is in their best interests, considering their physical, mental, psychological, and social well-being.

The complications in my case are not uncommon, involving false allegations of domestic violence and a police case that was not thoroughly investigated. I have come to understand that such tactics are unfortunately used in some custody disputes. She has her sister inlaws in law force. says a lot.

I have reported the matter, and a report from the OIPC confirms that the police have acted in a discriminatory manner toward me. This, combined with strong evidence of mishandling the investigation, suggests that these actions have been leveraged to benefit my ex-partner in the family case.

This situation has made the process exceedingly complex. While I have substantial evidence to support my case, I must carefully strategize how and when to proceed to ensure the best possible outcome for my children. if any one can advise otherwise i will be grateful.

You are a hero mate! I actually fully respect you going for full custody. I truly believe that is what would work best for our kids too, me with full custody and wife visiting, but she would never go for it (probably use all the tactics you mentioned) and so I’ve lowered my expectation to 50-50, only because the whole thing is so biased in favour of women. I swear if I was the woman and she was the man and everything’s happened that happened, than she’d never see the kids because I’d be the woman and everyone would see the evidence and just side with me. But as men we have to almost prove ourselves, guilty until proven innocent (or even capable of 50-50 with kids).

Sorry to hear of all the complications you have - I can’t believe women forget there are kids involved and do this crazy stuff!
