Its been a while since I've posted about my situation but in brief, stbx has not engaged in any of the financial proces for near on 15 months, in court twice no show, judge ordered straight to final after first hearing and rescheduled first hearing so onto the present. Had cafcass report , stbx got lives with order and guess what as soon as that landed stbx sent directly to my solicitor a very uncompleted Form E with some sporadic disclosures.
My solicitor and barrister have advised to exchange, yes all.my form e and disclosure are up to date and complete, I was adamant not to exchange but solicitor stated if we start playing her game and withold then this will trigger a possible adjournment for a later date = possibly 6 months and more money, if stbx doesn't add more disclosure the 3rd party request again = more money, solicitor wants to maintain the status quo in that I've met all deadlines and provided all disclosures and she has not.
Of course I'm weary to exchange with her form e stating balances that may or may not be true as there's no evidence to support.
How is the judge supposed to rule on this and agree an order, could the judge in fact adjourn it? and give her more time to get info, she's had 15 months already. This i do not want ,I want it settled so I can start my life properly. So can a judge adjourn a final?
