I'm sick and tired of being ignored by my Stbx's solicitor. Now that I have no solicitor and am representing myself, my ex's solicitor just ignores me.
This means that stbx is living the good life in the family home with all my posessions in there and I'm living in my parents bedroom with nothing.
I really want things wrapping up now that we are entering 2025 as this stems back to my stbx making allegations in September 2023, me getting chucked out the house due to her claiming DV and getting a non mol order, and things being sweet and happy for her and the children whilst Im left without a home that I'm still paying half the mortgage for.
Divorce is in it's final stage.
Her solicitor asked for exchange of finacial info months ago and has now gone quiet. Says ex still needs to gather documents which is rubbish.
I want to finish things and get the house sold or she buys me out.
I cant have my 3 children round and living in a small bed room. No wonder they feel like they are camping when they come over and dont want to stay the whole weekend!
I need my own place and with selling I could then put a deposit on my own place.
How do I get the ball rolling?
I've emailed her solicitor asking what is taking so long. No reply. I've asked for items from my home. Solicitor says stbx does not agree I have these things. Since when was it decided that stbx kept all joint posessions!
I have heard of a form A that should help. Anyone know anything about these?
I'm being taken for a ride by my stbx and solicitor and it has to stop.
Currently paying CMS, my half of mortgage, and several thousands each month towards a court case for coercive and controlling behaviour which is absolute lies. Have to borrow money each month. It's not sustainable and I cant get my life going again.
Yes, the courts will look at my phone and see CCTV footage and all photos of my ex but that was when I was trying to work out what the hell was going on when my ex accused me of throwing her through a window. I gathered evidence to show I was no where near there and have been building a porfolio ever since.
Things like my cctv showing my ex randomly walking round the garden naked after she banged her head. This is to show how weird and unstable her health is and highlight everything thats been going on. I have to go and defend myself which is causing me severe anxiety and worry too.
Being accused of stalking her when in fact we had a system in place due to her having seizures and we would check in on her. Had a device to check if she was ever unwell when driving. It's all been spun round to be against me.
I want this finished. I cant keep going on like this.
I'm tempted to write to her solicitor and copy in her bosses to highlight that we need to get financials finished and will be making it clear I cant keep paying the mortgage, giving 3 months warning. I need to start my life again too.
Really could do with some help to end all this as I'm broke, and being taken for a ride by stbx and her solicitor.
