First initial hearing

I have my first initial hearing next Wednesday I'm seeking a child arrangement order as to where my son lives with me and has supervised contact with mum I've read they might do some interim contact plan for the time being till we have final hearing any advice/what to expect from first hearing?

Does child currently reside with you at the moment then? I am assuming your ex had substance abuse issues or mentally not very well to be pursuing such an arrangement order?

The first hearing is a direction hearing on what steps to take next. It’s the first step in ot being revoked long term. Reports from professional services etc is what usually happens like cafcass and social services.

Yeah child resides with me has done since he was 2 months old he's now 9 months old and yeah she has an alcohol problem and mental health problems so I should expect nothing to change in relation to contact as I thought they would come up with a plan or will that be in next hearing?

Just spoke to my solicitor and she had said the mother hasn't filled her statement or pathways report (report about drug and alcohol) she's said court will grant extension of time for this will that mean it's gonna get delayed or will it still go ahead?
