My experiences so far are at the far end of the not amicable spectrum however, I guess it's all about how amicable the ex is, if they want it resolved and done fairly ,recognising that both of you need to go your own way and that the children if any are looked after and if that can be done via solicitors all the beter for it, however if that's not the case then this is where the ex will show they're true colours, like a fox backed Into a corner, they will use every trick in the playbookk to either put you down to the breadline or drag out the process, costing you money. I will hopefully have an update come the end of March with my outcome and experience of it going to a final hearing.
