Hi All, Due to my situation I'm getting more and more worried that I'm going to be left with nothing. Is there such a thing as specialist solicitors divorce finance solicitors??? Or what are the options for getting the best financial advice about my individual case???

Tia

Family solicitors should be pretty well informed and able to help. Unless you are in your 20s with kids and there's only around £10k of assets then the worst case outcome for you is probably going to be 70/30 with deferred clean break. Realistically more like 60/40.

how about 50 she's 46 with nothing, 120k assets (mortgage I've always paid for everything). 120k pension pot. 30k liabilities and the same in savings??

Feel like im going to come out with zero.......

There's no way you're getting nothing at age 50. It will depend on the age of the children and your respective earning capacities (not what you earn but what you can earn, including her).

Unless you are extraordinarily well paid but don't have many assets, then I would guesstimate an outcome where she took £90k from the house and you took £30k from the house, the pension and the liabilities. You would get "more" on paper because the £120k pension is not considered it's true value (because you cannot access it yet and you will be taxed on any income you derive from it).
