Final hearing: looking for alternate weekends contact.

At my last court hearing 2 weeks ago I was awarded. 3 hours supervised contact every week for 5 weeks. Then 3 hours supervised in the community for further 3 weeks. After this I would be given 5 hours a week unsupervised contact.

This contact was awarded having gone through a gap in contact of a year. The issue is my new next court hearing is in mid January where I will be having my final hearing for the long term order.

The issue is I was worried about is by the time of my next hearing I would have only had 5 supervised contacts without any unsupervised sessions. As my next hearing is so close. Will this hearing likely be ajourned as there's not enough time for me to have the contact sessions I was given for the court to judge on a long term order. I'm guessing the judge won't be in a position to do a long term contact order. If I've barley only completed 5 supervised contacts without any unspervised sessions going in the final Hearing?

Anyone been in a similar scenario. I was hoping I would have a good few months of regular unsupervised contact. So that I was in a position to move to overnight stays. (Ie alternate weekends)
Not sure why the court has given such a quick hearing date. Surely I need to go through period of contact before they can judge on the long term order and look at all the contact session reports.

It's good you've got a quick hearing date.
Don't worry too much about the unsupervised time.
Are the contact reports good?
This is all you need to progress.

Do you need to write a position statement before the hearing?
I does not instruct us to do so. But from what I've read at final hearings you should write up witness statement in support of your case. But on my last court order it does mention writing a statement.
