Do I still need to pay child maintenance

I co owned a house with my ex which had a fair bit of equity in it and I decided to sign my shsre over to her for nothing so that the kids were secure in their family home and I would be free after 4 years to get my own place.
I have continued to pay child maintenance, but now believe I am paying twice now considering I gave over my half of the house for nothing. Do I still need to pay maintenance?

Child Maintenance is separate from any Divorce agreements/orders and capital is separate from income. Unless, as Roblox says, there was something in your divorce order to say otherwise.

Legally you're required to pay Child Maintenance, at the assessed rate, based on your income. Do you pay via CMS assessment or do you have an informal arrangement with your ex? Either way, make sure you pay by standing order with the reference "Child Maintenance" in case you ever need to prove you've been paying it.
