If I was not to go through court but already made a claim for the courts can you cancel it or would I still have to go through with is as I have decided to do it with out going to court
You can apply to court to stop the process / withdraw. I think you can also request a deferral for a period of time if you think you can sort amicably.
Court aren't obliged to accept the withdrawal and I understand it could be harder if you have to apply again in the future but others on here have experience on that I think.
