Contacting local MP

Hi All,

Just wondering whether anyone has approached thier local MPs for help with child contact.

Court specifically ordered to go through ISW rather than contact centre to make sure that there won't be any contact as they know if the child is too young, he wouldn't go with ISW ( stranger) and he would want to go back to his mother. ISW is the worst option, specifically for small children.

Just wondering if anyone has used thier local MP's help and if could share some feedback.

BTW, appeal in the children's court doesn't work, so I try to avoid it as much as I can.

Thanks all & happy new year

My partner was advised to contact his local MP by the cms when they ballsed up. Absolute joke of an organisation.
He never did because he had 0% faith in our then local MP.

That's a bit separate to your question though.
There are some MPs who have debated for dad's rights but I'm not sure if they're making any inroads on the issue.
The policy makers tend to be academics with a lot of influence.
You have nothing to lose contacting your MP but I'm not sure there's much they can do.
