Hi all,
So my son is nearly 3, I am not on his birth certificate as he was conceived after my Ex and I broke up and I did not want to get back together with her and she then moved back up North (I am London-based). Seeing him hasn't been consistent for a variety of reasons but I've seen I'm a fair amount say every 2/3 months on average but I am now looking to get on the birth certificate and have formal arrangements to see him monthly. At first with me travelling up but building to London visits and overnights.
I had a consultation with Fathers 4 Justice who (I think) advised that I need to do a C1 form for the birth certificate and C100 for the arrangements. I've asked them for more advice but of course this comes at a cost which I'm trying to minimise. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? As in, on the C1 form do I just state I want to be put on the birth certificate (and explain that I've asked for this 2/3 times previously and we've done mediation, all of which didn't help). And submit that to the court alongside the C100 form r.e. my arrangements proposal?
Thanks,
DJM
