The attached research paper eloquently summarises the arguments for a presumption of shared care. Whilst I doubt most judges will care much for research and social sciences evidence, there are still useful points in the paper to draw on when constructing an argument in position statements etc.

Excellent article. Unfortunately citing anything from the US gets ignored a lot in the Uk by the academics. And even if it was published Uk research the feminist academics would be shouting "but what about DV" - which is their usual argument against it - seeing all men as possible abusers.
