As some of you might know, I recently won my two day fact finding hearing with the judgement saying that the mother was a non-credible witness and her DV allegations were inconsistent and basically false / non-believable. I just want to ask if there's a way to use the findings in this judgement to stop her Legal Aid since I believe her LA legibility is due to her false DV claims. Now that these DV claims have been disproved, is there a way to stop her getting this free aid. I ask because I continue to get new NMO applications and Contempt applications using the same evidence that were dismissed at the fact find. I believe she is able to do this and waste legal aid tax payer's money on solicitors simply because it is not out of pocket. The solicitors too indulge her because its free legal aid work. Its an easy case for me to win just that having to respond to new NMO applications every other week is a burden. I already got two dismissed in the last 3 months and now I have another one to deal with. Will appreciate any advice. Cheers

Any advice on removing Legal Aid?

You can appeal it, my ex partner claimed Legal Aid over false claims with no evidence which were also thrown out. Unfortunately, the bar for LA approval is so low (all she needs is a GP note) that there is no point appealing. Its just ridiculous. The free legal aid just allows them to keep making new and new allegations and making as many new NMO applications as they want without worrying about the legal costs. Their solicitors also enable them cos apparently its also free legal aid work and money for them. short answer, you can't. The whole family court thing is biased, slow and not fit for purpose, way overdue a root and branch reform.
