Alienating behaviours removed from Domestic Abuse Act 2021

family court is a strange beast, some will use out of date terms, others will scold you for doing so. The big issues with AB is that it is generally an abuse perpetrated by women (which doesnt fit the modern contemporary victimhood portrayal) and secondly, they simply dont have any means of managing it. So the courts prefer to ignore it as this is the simplest solution for them.

Exactly. It's hit and miss.
You hear of cases of PA being recognised but I feel like they're extreme cases which have moved to the high court. Also the children involved have been referred to social services by a school or GP so it gets taken more seriously than if the rejected parent brings up the phrase.

Shocking. But generally it's better to use terms like "manipulation" or "emotional harm" anyway.
