Sorry, just read back. I would just try everything you can. Whatever negativity you get from Reunite. Also presumably the country your daughter is in does have a social services? And she must be at school. I think her school would report anything if they thought she was having a bad time at home. Could you also find out which school she is at and try to make contact via the school?

Otherwise the only thing I can think is to go there and ask for some kind of formal mediation with the grandmother.

I have been threatened with extreme violence if i go looking for my daughter in that country.I have tried to contact the school,but they refuse to communicate with me.

Is it a Hague Country.

If yes can’t you just apply to local family court as LIP in the UK.

Guessing it will be a long winded process. But passing the buck to UK courts to resolve.

As long as you remain LIP then won’t cost you anything.

Child down the line will at least know you were proactive/interested.

Guessing that your child will become more independent and will at least know the paternal side of family due to in country legal investigation.

Head to country/ locality to try and find daughter/ maternal family and explain that I’m interested in upbringing.

Or await daughter reaching out / researching/ searching as she gets older.

If my mind was constantly churning about it , know what option I’d take .

Thanks for your reply.Regarding my daughter looking for me,she has already forgotten that i exist.She believes that my ex's husband is her Father.Hence,she will not go looking for me.As for going to look for her in the country where she is being held,i seriously believe that i could be killed should i try to visit her.

You obviously have not read my previous message about being threatened with extreme violence if i go near my daughter again.Life is cheap in that particular country.Hence,my being murdered is in no way out of the question....Other nasties that may await me are false allegations of rape or domestic abuse.These could result in imprisonment for a long time,while awaiting trial.
